If you can't seem to find a donkey in its supposed location, ride away and back to the location a few times, log out if needed. Some of the donkeys have a few bugs, some of them seem to have disappeared from some players altogether. Once a donkey is found, it must be led back to Mary at Jorvik Stables.
After receiving the quest from Mary to search for the miniature donkeys, they will appear hidden around The Harvest Counties.
